I'll be honest, I'm usually the type who only goes to a garage when something actually breaks or a warning light comes on, but after owning my 2016 Wrangler for three years I'm starting to think that approach is costing me more in the long run. Just had a coolant hose burst on me last week in the middle of a drive to Al Ain and the tow truck guy said he sees Jeeps all the time with neglected maintenance that could have been caught early. So now I'm trying to figure out a sensible schedule for things like belt inspections, fluid flushes, and suspension checks without going overboard. I noticed that the Jeep Maintenance Center Musaffah has a few different service packages that seem to cover everything from basic oil changes to full drivetrain inspections, but I honestly don't know which level makes sense for a daily driver that sees the desert maybe once a month. Do most of you just follow the owner's manual religiously or do you have your own routine based on Abu Dhabi driving conditions? Really curious how often the smart owners here take their Jeeps in for preventive stuff versus just waiting for symptoms. Trying to change my ways before something else leaves me stranded.
