Hello all,
When you need to install wall insulation in Florida, choosing materials that handle heat and humidity is essential. I’ve had the best results with closed-cell spray foam because it controls moisture and boosts energy efficiency. Before insulating, seal every air leak—Florida homes lose tons of cooling through gaps.
Rigid foam boards also work well if you prefer something less messy. Make sure the wall assembly can dry properly to avoid moisture buildup. After upgrading my insulation, my home stayed cooler and my electric bill dropped noticeably. Anyone else try to install wall insulation in Florida and see similar results?
