Five people were killed and nine others injured after a residential house caught fire in Chaoyang District Brian Dawkins Eagles Jersey , Beijing, on Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at 1:18 a.m. in a village house in Shibalidian Township, according to the fire department. The injured were brought to hospital.
The fire was triggered by flames from two electric bicycles, said the fire department. Police on Wednesday detained the house owner as they found the house was self-built for rental.

GENEVA, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- The UN Special Envoy for SyriaStaffan de Mistura said that the way Intra-Syrian peace talksproceed will come after he speaks to the Security Council in NewYork as the eighth round ended Thursday without "realnegotiations."
He told journalists at the UN in Geneva that the two weeks oftalks failed to yield the intended results despite great efforts,which he described as a "missed golden opportunity".
De Mistura said the scheduled topics of a constitution andelections under UN Security Council Resolution 2254 had not evenbeen discussed with the government delegation.
"We did not see the government looking to have a dialogue inthis round," said the UN envoy Alshon Jeffery Eagles Jersey , adding that "there is noalternative but to have the legitimacy of the UN."
He said as well as reporting back to the UN Security Council inNew York, he would also seek advice from special ambassadors of thePermanent Five members of the Security Council who he has beenconsulting.
"I will probably need to come up with new ideas, parameters,about how to move the talks forward, particularly on constitutionand elections Nelson Agholor Eagles Jersey ," de Mistura said.
The UN envoy said that both the government side and theopposition group had accused each other of setting preconditions,but there had been none in Geneva before the talks proceeded.
"We are not going to give up at the moment," he said when "theSyrian people believe there should be some process withoutprecondition."
Earlier, the head of the Syrian government delegation to theSyrian peace talks Bashar al-Ja'afari said his team would not talkto the opposition delegation due to a statement it released beforethe current talks began, known as "the Riyadh communique."
After a meeting with de Mistura in Geneva Jay Ajayi Eagles Jersey , al-Ja'afari toldreporters that Syria did not want the talks to fail, but theopposition had come with "a precondition" it set in November at aconference known as "Riyadh 2".
At the conference, a declaration was issued that SyrianPresident Bashar al-Assad did not have a role to play in thecountry's future political transition.
"As long as the Riyadh 2 communique stands, we will not engagein direct talks," said al-Ja'afari.
